Hiking the Grand Teton National Park

I’m definitely not a morning person. But after this trip, I’ve started to rethink my identity. Being able to see what the morning light does to these mountains is nothing short of remarkable. And don’t get me started on what these early hours do to parking possibilities at the trailheads (it works wonders). My point being, get up early to get the most out of your trip to the Tetons. Your kids will thank you ten years down the line looking back.

I did as many hikes as my stamina and gasoline budget allowed. I took morning swims in the lakes, kept my eyes out for bears, and ate as much game meat as I could—it was downright awesome. I also explored the town of Jackson as well as some other picture-worthy locations throughout the park.
